Art for hotels, restaurants and bars
Original art, paintings, murals and hand-painted vases created for sensual spaces where people meet, enjoy and experience.
I create art that is part of a space as an atmosphere – something you feel before you understand. Art that functions not only as decoration, but as an integral part of the identity and experience of the place.
When art is placed in experience spaces like hotels, restaurants and bars, it becomes part of the story. It sets a tone, creates coherence and gives the guest a sensory sense of the place. It is precisely in this field that I work.
My projects often arise in close collaboration with owners, architects and decision-makers who want a coherent artistic expression rather than individual works. Collaborations where there is trust, time and freedom for the art to become a natural part of the space.
I work with both paintings and murals and create site-specific solutions that take into account the architecture, light, function and atmosphere of the space. I work with art as an element of the interior design with good sound , and also bring art into the space with, among other things, unique hand-painted vases .
The process always begins with a dialogue about the whole: what the place should be able to do and what the guest should feel.
Among other things, I have created art for renowned restaurants, bars and hotels, where the art is part of the overall aesthetic and atmospheric experience, including Restaurant Geranium in Copenhagen, as well as more recent projects for bars and hotels in Denmark and abroad.
My focus is not on volume, but on quality and coherence. I say yes to projects where art is allowed to take its place and importance, and where there is respect for the artistic process.
If you would like to hear how art can support identity, mood and experience in your space, you are welcome to get in touch. The conversation always starts with the whole and good dialogue with creative brainstorming.
Art for hotels
A hotel should feel like an experience, not just a place to sleep. With original art you can create an environment that exudes both tranquility and character. Art makes the hotel unique and creates surprises. My works are often chosen for lobbies, rooms and suites, where colors and motifs reflect the rhythm of nature and give the guest a sense of harmony.
A mural in flowing organic shapes can tie architecture and interior design together and create a signature expression for the entire hotel.
In 2026 I will be painting murals in a hotel in Spain. If you would like to hear more about how my art could fit into your hotel, please contact me for a chat and a no-obligation quote.
Art for restaurants
In restaurants, art is about sensuality. About creating an atmosphere where guests feel the presence of nature and want to stay a little longer. I often work with colors that play with light and materials in the room – and with works that support the restaurant's story and gastronomic universe. Art that reflects the forms of nature in an elegant and modern composition.
When I created the art for Geranium, there were some clear guidelines overall. The art had to be light, botanical and understated. The art had to not dominate, but support and help create a sense of space that fits with the vision - the food should be the centerpiece in a light and bright Nordic space. It became a biological nature reference in how it is important that nature is in balance. Insects are essential for us to be able to eat the plants that we want to live on. The plants I painted are all edible plants from the Danish wild nature. At Restaurant Geranium we chose murals as it emphasizes the light and vibrant. There are no limitations, and the plants can both wind around corners, over columns and even over the ceiling.

Art for bars
A bar should have character. It should be a place where people meet, where conversations occur, and where the atmosphere is completely its own. Here I often use contrasts, deep colors and motifs that give the space a visual weight – something you remember and want to return to.
In 2025, I decorated the newly opened bar Lumé in Copenhagen with art.
Do you want to decorate with art?
I work closely with architects, interior designers and owners to create art that fits the space perfectly. Each project starts with a dialogue about mood, colors and materials. I then develop sketches and proposals – either adapted to existing decor or as part of a new overall experience. Each interior design project is unique and the art should set the mood or emphasize the style that has been set.
