Collection: Posters Botanical

My two series "Botanical" and "Floral" are two botanical poster series with calm backgrounds. These posters are created by me photographing flowers and plants and painting over them with a digital pen. The posters are both photorealistic and detailed, while also having poetic loose brushstrokes. The posters have a fabulous and adventurous expression in a light Nordic style that has references to the Japanese botanical aesthetic. I have had several large exhibitions in Japan and feel connected to their view of nature. These posters also refer back to before the invention of photography, when all parts of a plant were illustrated and given Latin names to map nature. This tradition is also seen in the "Flora Danica" series at Royal Copenhagen.

All art posters are prints of original artwork. Only a small, limited edition is moved, which means that you probably won't come across the poster in other homes.

I choose wooden frames where you can see the varicatures in the tree. My little paintings are framed behind glass with a black wooden frame. You can easily choose a different type of frame if the black frame does not fit into the décor.

A small painting can easily hang the alone on a smaller wall. However, it is also super fine to hang several works together. The paintings do not have to be the same size, as they may hang staggered.
