I paint murals in private homes and in businesses. I have, among other things, painted murals in 5 hospitals in Denmark, the three-star Michelin restaurant Geranium in Copenhagen and in BankInvest.

    My paintings are primarily in an abstract style. Abstract paintings are nonfigurative art, where colors and shapes are the guiding expression. Mn art is both Abstract Expressionism and Abstract Symbolism where I let the materials work based on a philosophical outlook.

    Printing modern art on posters is an ancient tradition, and over time art posters with abstract art have always been very popular. You can therefore buy selected works of art as posters. All posters are in 50x70 cm. and some also in 70x100 cm.

    I painting murals in both businesses and in private homes. A mural can be anything from small painted details, to a large work painted directly on the wall. My art is abstract, it winds and can also be painted across ceilings or corners.

MODERN PAINTINGS FOR SALE

Modern paintings are sold by artist Rikke Darling. You can buy my paintings online here, visit me in my studio on Østerbro in Copenhagen. You can also visit one of the art galleries I am associated with in Denmark and abroad. I also exhibit my paintings in art associations and open exhibition venues throughout the country. If you sign up for my newsletter, you are always up to date on what is happening.

My paintings have a modern style, as my colors are influenced by the trends of the time, but my painting style is fundamentally abstract, based on nature and biology. I would say that my paintings are biological paintings that can be categorized as both BioArt and SciArt. However, all my paintings cannot be called abstract paintings, as my paintings are not always fully abstract. At times a female figure appears. I call her StyleGirl, and she can be seen in my paintings as a little storyteller. You may also occasionally encounter a butterfly or other recognizable shapes. Modern art knows no limitations in categories.

When you buy paintings directly from the artist, you get the full story of the paintings. A painting is not just a nice thing to hang on the wall. A painting is also a story told with passion, reflection, contemplation and good craftsmanship. I am happy to tell the whole story behind my paintings, and if you live near Copenhagen, I am also happy to come to your home with some paintings and help with how they can hang in your home. The large paintings are masterpieces that will affect the whole atmosphere of the room in which they hang, so it is important that you choose the right painting that you will be happy with for many years. You can also choose to have a painting painted to order according to wishes or have a mural painted directly on the wall.
