Several new large paintings have been created recently. Spring has brought a new mood to the paintings – and they are now for sale online on my website.
New paintings for sale
I have been working intensely in the studio for the past few months, and now a series of brand new works are ready to find their home. The paintings move in the field of tension between the organic and the abstract. They revolve around the microcosm and macrocosm of nature – about the invisible network that we are all a part of.
New paintings - New colors
The colors in my new paintings range from soft pastel tones to deeper warmer shades with flashes of light to the slightly calmer and heavier earth tones. The changing seasons characterize the moods and you can see the transformation towards lighter and brighter in the paintings. I work layer upon layer with transparency, fine lines and details that slowly open up to the eye. Each painting is an invitation to contemplation – to let the eye wander and thoughts flow freely. In some of the works, birds and other creatures appear as symbols of the movement and connectedness of life. Other works are purer in their abstraction and give room for your own interpretations and experiences.
