Painting "Summertime" 100x150 cm.

"Summertime" is a painting that smells of summer. On a light beige background, a botanical universe unfolds with large pink flowers, bees and birds in an organic and vibrant pattern — very similar to my painting "Toward the horizon", but with its own atmosphere and energy.

My little female figure is included — relaxed and playful, she holds on to a branch with large pink flowers. There is no rush in this painting. Only summer light, flowers and the wonderful feeling of having a good time.

The female figure recurs in many of my paintings. She is not a specific person but a voice — someone who observes and is part of the universal pattern between man and nature. It is the core of my artistic universe.

I paint with acrylic paint from Golden on handmade canvases from Vindelev Blindrammefabrik and always finish with two layers of varnish that protects against sunlight and dust. The painting is stretched on a 2 cm deep blind frame and painted on the sides — it does not need framing but can be framed if desired.

The light beige and pink tones make the painting perfect in a Scandinavian or Nordic interior with light walls and natural materials. It works beautifully above the sofa, above a sideboard or in the bedroom — and brings a summer atmosphere into the home all year round. The size 100x150 cm is one of my most versatile sizes and fits over most sofas.

The painting is available in three versions: without frame, with oak frame or with black frame.
