"Rock Solid" is a painting about the raw and tranquil Nordic nature — about rock formations that have stood for millennia by the water's edge, and the soft moss that has slowly spread over them like a green carpet. I paint with Golden acrylic paints on handmade canvases from Vindelev Blindrammefabrik and always finish with two layers of varnish that protect against sunlight and dust. The painting is stretched on a 2 cm deep stretcher frame and painted on the sides — it does not require framing but can be framed if desired.
