Painting "In the air" 110x180 cm.

"In the air" is a light and airy painting with a warm light gray background that gives the feeling of being in the middle of a floating botanical universe. Abstract and botanical elements flow through the picture — and my characteristic orange bubbles light up like sunshine and life in the quiet gray.

My small female figure hangs on a branch with flowers — light and trusting, as if she lets herself be carried by nature itself. Three birds are in the picture and emphasize the floating and freedom-seeking atmosphere.

The female figure recurs in many of my paintings. She is not a specific person but a voice — someone who observes and is part of the universal pattern between man and nature. It is the core of my artistic universe.

I paint with acrylic paint from Golden on handmade canvases from Vindelev Blindrammefabrik and always finish with two layers of varnish that protects against sunlight and dust. The painting is stretched on an extra deep 4 cm blind frame — the motif continues on the sides, which gives a beautiful effect when you see the painting from the side.

The light and warm gray tone makes the painting very versatile in interior design — it suits Scandinavian minimalism, modern Nordic interior design and rooms with light walls and natural materials. The size 110x180 cm makes it a natural centerpiece above the sofa or along a long wall.

The painting is available in three versions: without frame, with oak frame or with black frame.
