"Deep Sea" is a fully abstract painting — a dive into the deep and mysterious universe of the ocean. Blue and green tones move through the image like waves and sea spray, sky and sea merging into an organic and vibrant abstract universe.

And in the midst of it all, my small female figure hides in the waves. She is not visible at first glance — you have to look for her. But she is there. Quiet and present in the ocean's power and movement, as if she has become part of the element itself.

The female figure reappears in many of my paintings. She is not a specific person but a voice — one who observes and is part of the universal pattern between human and nature. In this painting, she is almost absorbed by nature — and that is precisely the point.

I paint with acrylic paints from Golden on handmade canvases from Vindelev Blindrammefabrik and always finish with two layers of varnish that protect against sunlight and dust. The painting is stretched on a 2 cm deep stretcher frame and painted on the sides — it does not need framing but can be framed if desired.

The deep blue and green tones give the painting a calm and meditative atmosphere reminiscent of the sea on a quiet day — or of what lies beneath the surface. It is perfect for coastally inspired interiors, Scandinavian and Nordic homes with natural materials, and all rooms where a deep and calming atmosphere is desired. The size 100x150 cm fits above most sofas and sideboards.
