"Burning Fall" is a warm and grounding painting — a painting about being present in nature during autumn with its burning red colors. My small female figure sits relaxed and enjoys the scene, where she is in dialogue with a small bird. She is hanging from a branch to reach the bird and is present in the beauty of nature and in her own peace. It is a painting that invites you to take a breath, lower your shoulders, and feel the ground beneath your feet.
The female figure reappears in many of my paintings. She is not a specific person but a voice — one that observes and is part of the universal pattern between human and nature. It is the core of my artistic universe.
I paint with acrylic paint from Golden on hand-built canvases from Vindelev Stretcher Frame Factory and always finish with two coats of varnish that protect against sunlight and dust. The painting is stretched on a 2 cm deep stretcher frame and painted on the sides — it does not need framing but can be framed if desired.
The warm brown color palette with white and pink flowers makes the painting perfect for Nordic and Scandinavian homes with natural materials like wood and stone — and especially beautiful in rooms with earth tones and organic elements. The elongated format works well above a sideboard, in a hallway, or as a beautiful side-piece to other paintings on a gallery wall.
