Painting "A bird's life" 100x150 cm.

"A bird's life" is a large painting in a warm and botanical  expression with a darker and richer mood than my "Summertime" — the same botanical universe, but here the background is warm and brown, and the large white flowers light up against the dark background like stars in a night landscape.

The birds are there — light and free as always. And my little female figure is there too, present in the botanical universe in her characteristic quiet and present way.

The female figure recurs in many of my paintings. She is not a specific person but a voice — someone who observes and is part of the universal pattern between man and nature. It is the core of my artistic universe.

I paint with acrylic paint from Golden on hand-built canvases from Vindelev Blindrammefabrik and always finish with two layers of varnish that protects against sunlight and dust. The painting is stretched on a 2 cm deep blind frame and painted on the sides — it does not need framing but can be framed if desired.

The warm brown background with large white flowers gives the painting a striking and beautiful contrast that works particularly well in interiors with warm earthy colors, dark wood and natural materials. The size 100x150 cm is one of my most versatile sizes and fits over most sofas and sideboards.

The painting is available in three versions: without frame, with oak frame or with black frame.
