Hand-painted vases with abstract art
My vases are like small, white universes. Simple and spherical in shape, but with life and movement on the surface, where I have painted abstract art in my well-known biological style.
I work intuitively, with brushstrokes reminiscent of branching and cells – microscopic patterns from nature. Each vase becomes its own story – a small piece of living art, where colors and shapes find their own rhythm.
No two vases are alike. I paint them one at a time, so each one gets its very own character. Some have delicate, flowing movements, while others stand strong and rhythmic in expression.
The vases are created to bring art into everyday life – to stand alone as a sculptural object or as a beautiful contrast to flowers and branches. They unite the functional with the sensory and make even the quiet room come alive.
