Profitable poster art

This month, there's an interview with me in Børsen's Penge & Privatøkonomi about collecting art posters. Creating art posters from original paintings is an old tradition that I'm very fond of. Posters are affordable and democratic. With a poster, anyone can bring a piece of art into their home, and you'll find posters in most homes.

If you've attended an exhibition that made an impression, it's natural to buy a small glimpse of the experience to take home as a poster. I've often bought a poster myself when I've seen a fantastic exhibition at a museum. For example, I've bought art posters by Cathrine Raben Davidsen, Maria Rubinke, and Mark Rothko.

Unfortunately, an art poster is rarely a good financial investment. If you want art that has the potential to increase in value, you should buy original paintings. So, an art poster should be bought to enjoy it in everyday life.

If you want inspiration on what to consider when choosing framing for posters, read my blog post about it here.
