Painting "Vitality" 70x130 cm.

"Vitality" is a painting that overflows with warmth and life force. The burnt yellow and beige background gives the painting an intense sunny mood — like a warm summer day where everything is golden and full of energy. Large green leaves meander across the painting with a powerful and organic movement, and burgundy and orange abstract shapes add depth and drama to the warm universe.

There is a heaviness to this painting — a solid and grounded energy that is reminiscent of nature's own power. And in the middle of it all, my small female figure rides the abstractions and holds on to a branch with leaves — bold and present, as if she is part of the living force that permeates the entire painting.

The female figure recurs in many of my paintings. She is not a specific person but a voice — someone who observes and is part of the universal pattern between man and nature. In this painting, she is full of life and energy — just like the painting itself.

I paint with acrylic paint from Golden on handmade canvases from Vindelev Blindrammefabrik and always finish with two layers of varnish that protects against sunlight and dust. The painting is stretched on a 2 cm deep blind frame and painted on the sides — it does not need framing but can be framed if desired.

The warm and sunny color palette with green, burgundy and orange tones makes the painting perfect in Nordic and Scandinavian homes with warm earthy colors and natural materials — especially beautiful in rooms with wooden elements and organic details. The elongated format works beautifully above a sideboard, in a hallway or as a powerful side piece on a picture wall. The size 70x130 cm gives the elongated expression that creates direction and energy in the interior.
