Painting "Good times" 70x130 cm.

"Good times" is a painting with both depth and lightness — a blue-green mood that carries a calm heaviness, yet lights up in flashes of gold and pink. Botanical elements unfold throughout the image, and golden yellow and orange cell shapes glow like life force and energy in the middle of the blue-green universe. Small pink flowers add a soft and playful contrast to the deeper base tone.

My small female figure stands relaxed and holds on to a branch — calm and present in the rhythm of nature. She is not going anywhere. She is just there, anchored in the moment and in the blue-green universe that surrounds her.

The female figure recurs in many of my paintings. She is not a specific person but a voice — someone who observes and is part of the universal pattern between man and nature. It is the core of my artistic universe.

I paint with acrylic paint from Golden on handmade canvases from Vindelev Blindrammefabrik and always finish with two layers of varnish that protects against sunlight and dust. The painting is stretched on a 2 cm deep blind frame and painted on the sides — it does not need framing but can be framed if desired.

The blue-green tones with golden and pink accents make the painting versatile and atmospheric — it suits Scandinavian and Nordic homes with natural materials, for interiors in blue and green tones and for rooms where you want a deep and calm atmosphere with a glimpse of warmth and life. The elongated format works beautifully above a sideboard, in a hallway or as part of a picture wall. The size 70x140 cm gives the elongated expression that creates calm and direction in the interior.
