I have created a new art poster. My new poster features small birds. The bird is a classic symbol in art, used in infinitely many expressions. Like so many others, I am fascinated by the bird's symbolism and beauty, and have therefore now worked with the bird in my artistic universe. I am considering whether the bird should be a new element in my paintings, and my first image will be as a poster. Here I have mixed one of my small paintings with digital illustration. The work has been created and is now ready to be sent for proof printing, and I am super excited about the result. The plan is for the poster to come in three colors: green, blue, and pink.
Since ancient times, the bird has been a symbol of peace and freedom. In the story of Noah's Ark in the Old Testament, Noah sent out the dove to see if there was land after the flood. The dove returned with an olive branch in its beak as a promise of hope. In ancient Egypt, the bird symbolized the soul, which flew from the body when death occurred. Birds are characterized by moving in the element of air. An element associated with freedom, independence, and perspective. In dreams, a flying bird can be seen as an image of our ability to free ourselves from the limitations we may feel and be an image of a desire to be more free - free as a bird.
