I have created a new art poster. My new poster is with little birds. The bird is a classic symbol in art that has been used in an infinite number of expressions. Like so many others, I am fascinated by the symbolism and beauty of the bird, and have therefore now worked with the bird in my artistic universe. I go and consider whether the bird should be a new element in my paintings, and my first picture will be like a poster. Here I have mixed one of my small paintings with digital illustration. The work has been created and is now ready to be sent for proofing, and I am super excited about the result. The plan is for the poster to come in three colours, green, blue and pink.
The bird has been a symbol of peace and freedom since ancient times. In the story of Noah's ark in the Old Testament, Noah sent out the dove to investigate whether there was land after the flood. The dove returned with an olive branch in its beak as a promise of hope. In ancient Egypt, the bird symbolized the soul, which flew up from the body when death occurred. Birds are characterized by the fact that they move in the element of air. An element that is connected to freedom, independence and overview. In dreams, a flying bird can be seen as an image of our ability to free ourselves from the limitations we may feel and be an image of a desire to be more free - free like the bird.
